Before your students come to the library for their scheduled face-to-face instruction, they need to complete the first part of the library's Moodle course. Once they log into Moodle (at http://moodle.oakland.edu), they will see all of their courses, including your RHT 160 section. They will also see a separate course called Library Instruction for Rhetoric 160.
Once they enter the library course they will see the following lesson outline:

The students must complete the Library Pre-Test and Library Tutorials and Quizzes before arriving in the library for their instructional sessions with the librarians.
To monitor your students' progress, you need to be able to access our gradebook. When you log into Moodle, go into the Library course (please let me know if you have any problems logging into the course). Look to the left, under "Administration" and you will see "Grades:"

The gradebook has all of the students of all RHT160 sections in it. There are two steps to getting your classes' detailed information. First, click on the link labeled "Show Groups" -- if you see instead in this spot a link labeled "Hide Groups," just continue on to the next step.
A dropdown menu will appear at the top left of the gradebook. Select your CRN from the list:

There are a maximum of 16 points possible on the Pre-test and Final Exams, and 31 possible points on the Tutorials and Quizzes. Please note that the Library Final Exam will be done in the library at the end of their session(s) with the librarian. Should the students listed under your CRN not be correct (i.e., there are extras, or some students are missing), please contact me.
